_It is important for VOTERS to know that you are NOT obligated to vote for 6 Councilor positions. Some people simply vote for names they recognize just to fill the 6 Councillor positions. The truth is that you can Vote for a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 6 on your ballot. So vote only for those you believe will be effective as a Councillor. Please VOTE either on Wednesday Nov. 16th or Saturday, Nov. 19th at the Pomeroy Sports Centre. The polls are open 8:00AM - 8:00PM.

_Just got home from a wonderful Remembrance Day Ceremony and lunch at the Fort St. John Legion. It is so humbling to think about those many ordinary people who have become extraordinary heroes, having given their lives for us. May we honour them always and never forget the sacrifice they have made, and continue to make on our behalf.
Had an exciting, humbling, and somewhat bizarre occurrence this morning of going to vote in the Municipal Election. No, it wasn't the first time I have voted. But it is the first time my own name appeared on the Ballot! A weird and awesome experience to vote for myself. But it felt right! It was the right choice! Did everyone hear that? It was the right choice to vote Gord Klassen! get out there and vote on November 19th (or at the Advance Polls on November 16th).
It has been a busy few days, meeting with residents and business owners during the day, and spending the evenings attending Information Sessions and All-Candidates Forums. Even met with a group of students from Northern Lights College to talk about leadership and politics. I am having the time of my life discovering so many new aspects of our community and great people who love this place as much as I do! It's like Red Green always said, "we're in this together!"
On Wednesday evening, I attended the forum on the fluoridation of our water in FSJ. It was a very informative session. I am pleased that we were provided with this information and glad to see so many come out to the event. I would encourage everyone to investigate both sides of this issue before voting on the referendum. It is vital that we make "educated" decisions and choices in the Municipal Election November 19th!
