As I drove to Dawson Creek and back today for Peace River Regional District meetings, I was overwhelmed once again with the amount of traffic on the road. At one point I met 26 vehicles one right after the other. And it wasn't because they were stuck behind a big truck - it was just that busy! It was a reminder to me of how imperative it is that our roads and highways be improved, to allow industry to move effectively, transportation of good to flow freely, and residents and tourists to travel safely!
Thank Goodness for a Daytimer!
I had no idea that my City Council life would be so full of meetings, events, and more meetings. This has been an exciting time of Council Meetings, special events, and conversations with various industry representatives, community groups, and organizations. It is busy and I am loving it! This is an exciting time of activity and growth in our region, and I am so glad to see our City Council, along with staff, working effectively together to lead us forward as a community!
